Dr. Rufina Yakubov Danilova, Au.D., is the founder of Fifth Avenue Hearing and a board-certified and fellowship-trained audiologist who provides comprehensive hearing care for her patients. She specializes in auditory diagnosis, treatment and management of all types of hearing losses as well as preservation of hearing by implementing her philosophy for patient safety and best results.
Dr. Yakubov is an expert in state-of-the-art technology, including invisible trends, and she frequently travels to exquisite training to bring the latest trends to her patients and remain abreast of the latest research and studies. Her number one priority is the patient, above anything else.
Dr. Yakubov earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University in New York City and received her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Yakubov is a New York state-licensed audiologist and is also licensed to dispense hearing aids in New York.
In addition to her extensive professional background, Dr. Yakubov is particularly interested in the healthy lifestyle and the effects exercise and meditation have on overall wellness. She is a long-time Vinyasa-trained yoga practitioner of meditation and Ayurveda, and strives to blend these holistic practices with minimally invasive techniques to achieve a natural and healthy lifestyle.
